Overview

Halz Lalz Ckez was founded durring the early 13th century in fall of the year 1249, by Cherys Åxruqedrayd. The establishment of Halz Lalz Ckez was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Cherys Åxruqedrayd struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Halz Lalz Ckez as a prison colony.

Halz Lalz Ckez was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Halz Lalz Ckez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Halz Lalz Ckez is buildings are arranged arround a network of restrictive canals streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits comfortably behind a palisade wall complete with a timber gatehouse and battlments. Halz Lalz Ckez's timber-based walls has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A look around Halz Lalz Ckez gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.
